La Citadelle de Besançon to represent the Bourgogne Franche-Comté region in the "Monument préféré des Français 2025" competition

The results of the first round of voting for " France's Favorite Monument 2025 " were revealed last night on France 3 by Stéphane Bern.
Besançon's Citadelle is one of the 14 monuments still in the running.

A second voting phase will take place from Thursday, July 3 at 10 a.m. until July 18 at 11:59 p.m. on the France TV platform or by phone on 3245 (€0.80/min + call charge).

It's thanks to your votes and your mobilization that the Citadelle made it through to the second round! We therefore call on you to mobilize once again to help spread the word about our exceptional heritage throughout France, and perhaps designate the Besançon Citadel as France's Favorite Monument of 2025!
