Les Serge (Gainsbourg period)
With the Troupe de la Comédie-Française: Stéphane Varupenne, Benjamin Lavernhe, Sébastien Pouderoux, Noam Morgensztern, Yoann Gasiorowski, Marie Oppert
The project is conceived in partnership with La Rodia, la Citadelle, le Nouveau Théâtre Besançon and les Eurockéennes de Belfort.
In co-production with La Rodia Scène de Musiques Actuelles de Besançon and the Nouveau Théâtre de Besançon Centre dramatique national.
The show takes the form of the final rehearsal of a kind of stand-up concert, mixing songs and interview excerpts. On one side is the music, on the other is Gainsbourg's repartee, his irreverent, subversive wit. In just over an hour, Gainsbourg can only play a fraction of his immense repertoire, so the show focuses on Gainsbourg in love and sensuality, exploring the other side of the stage, the intimate and confidential side of the artist and his character... Each actor takes on the score in his own way, welcoming the provocateur, the subversive, the shy or the inhibited: each is looking for his own Serge.
Adapted and directed by Stéphane Varupenne and Sébastien Pouderoux
Costumes: Magdaléna Calloc'h
Lighting: Éric Dumas
Musical arrangements: Guillaume Bachelé, Martin Leterme, Vincent Leterme et les Serge
Sound: Théo Jonval

Panorama Sonore
This summer, in the heart of the Parc Saint Étienne, music will resound within the walls of the Cité Vauban. The Citadelle de Besançon offers 3 evening concerts, on July 10, 11 and 12, as part of its summer program.
Thursday, July 10: Queer Cabaret "Madame Ose Bashung" in partnership with Le Cercle
A veritable electro-rock cabaret, "Madame ose Bashung" is a musical journey through Alain Bashung's multi-faceted repertoire, with 3 singer-performers metamorphosing into flamboyant creatures adorned in extravagant costumes and breathtaking hairstyles.
Accompanied by 6 peerless musicians, the 3 performers boldly, freely and poetically revisit the artist's hit songs, such as "Gaby", "Vertige de l'amour" and "Osez Joséphine", in a series of inventive stagings. A colorful event not to be missed, where emotion and a sense of celebration come together to perfection.
Friday, July 11: Dominique A trio
For this concert, Dominique A is joined by keyboardist Julien Noël and double bassist Sébastien Boisseau, both accomplices on his latest album Monde réel. These two instrumentalists, two musical greats, open up a new space of freedom for him, and enable him to bring his project to life: to explore, in an intimate register, his repertoire built up over more than thirty years. As a trio, Dominique A brings his generous energy to the stage and vocals, focusing on musical interplay and sound dynamics. His music shines with contrasts. The artist takes his place as interpreter, giving us the chance to hear his inimitable voice and poetic, luminous lyrics...
Saturday, July 12: David Krakauer
A virtuoso clarinetist, David Krakauer is today one of the most emblematic and talented figures in new Klezmer music. He reinvents it with influences from funk, jazz, hip hop and electro music. Krakauer has a unique ability to tell moving stories through his music, while bringing klezmer culture to life. You'll be swept away by the unbridled sound of his clarinet, whose limits he pushes, accompanied by his band of musicians bursting with joy and energy. An evening to fill up on good vibes!...
