There are many ways to get involved and support the Citadelle’s projects: partnerships, event sponsorship, corporate philanthropy, and more. Together, we identify the options that best suit our partner companies.
Corporate philanthropy is accessible to everyone—small, medium, or large companies alike. We offer customized corporate philanthropy programs that align with each company’s identity, culture, size, and objectives.
Three types of sponsorship:
- Financial sponsorship: This is the traditional form of sponsorship and the one most commonly used by companies of all sizes; it involves contributing a sum of money to a project that serves the public interest.
- In-kind sponsorship: This type of sponsorship involves donating or providing goods or products free of charge to benefit one of the projects the company wishes to support.
- Skills-based corporate philanthropy: A company has expertise that could be useful to a project and makes one or more employees available to the supported project during their work hours. This is an excellent way for teams to develop their skills and strengthen their sense of belonging to the company.
A tax incentive program
Under Article 238 bis of the General Tax Code, 60% of the amount of a donation made in cash, in kind, or in the form of services (up to a limit of 0.5% of revenue excluding tax) may be deducted from corporate income tax.
Gifts in return, on the other hand, are governed by law. Their value must not exceed 25% of the value of the donation. Thus, 85% of the value of the donations may be returned to the company in the form of various benefits.
