On Wednesday, July 8, the Citadel will host a first-of-its-kind event within the monument’s grounds: “The Night of Illusion,” a grand outdoor magic gala organized by the Cercle magique comtois.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Citadel, 13 artists will take the stage one after another to present nearly two hours of entertainment blending grand illusions, poetic magic, mentalism, humor, and sleight-of-hand acts. An immersive, family-friendly evening designed as a true magic cabaret under the stars.

This show, created by the collective Le Cercle magique comtois, will immerse the audience in the world of a magic cabaret, featuring a succession of sleight-of-hand acts, grand illusions, poetic magic, mentalism, and humor. The evening will also feature the amazing Zebrano, a balloon sculptor, and special guest Charly Brahim, crowned French Magic Champion in 2016!

Practical Information

• Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
• The show starts at 8:30 p.m.
• The show will take place outdoors, with audience members seated on the grass. We recommend bringing a cushion, blanket, or warm clothing for added comfort.
