Come discover the world and life story of Ceija Stojka, a Romani artist who was deported as a child, and whose works are currently on display at the Besançon Museum of Fine Arts and Archaeology in the exhibition “Ceija Stojka. Keep Your Eyes Open.” The MRDB invites you to explore, alongside her works, two documentaries about the artist, which are being screened in our temporary exhibition galleries.
This issue also showcases the museum’s collection of art created in exile—more than 600 drawings and statuettes produced in the Reich’s camps and prisons—making it one of the most significant collections of its kind in Europe.
