Come and discover the new exhibition at the Museum of Resistance and Deportation in Besançon, designed around an everyday object: the suitcase.
Now synonymous with escape or travel, it illustrates other realities in the context of World War II: the exile of Spanish Republicans, the exodus, the struggle of the Resistance, deportation, the extermination of Jews, and the preservation of traces of history for future generations.
Drawing on its own collections and numerous loans from other institutions, the museum aims to explore this object and its various uses.
Limited number of people. Reservations at the reception desk of the Museum of Resistance and Deportation.
