The Yi Fang Association was founded in Besançon with the mission of bringing together the Chinese community, promoting traditional Chinese culture in Europe, and fostering exchanges and cooperation between China and the West. In Besançon, as throughout France, it has organized numerous activities in collaboration with libraries and museums. It has also helped establish partnerships between French and Chinese elementary and secondary schools. The association also offers Chinese language classes, as well as workshops on Chinese culture and the arts.
