Presentation:

In search of Jeanne - Lecture by Zazie Tavitian

A simple recipe book. This was the starting point of the investigation that led Zazie Tavitian to discover her great-great-grandmother, Jeanne Weill, murdered at Sobibor. She was 58 years old.

"Before she died, Jeanne was alive.

Armed with this notebook, Zazie Tavitian set off to meet members of her family. During the course of a recipe, she gleaned information and pieced together the story of Jeanne's life.

Zazie Tavitian invites us to share in this adventure, from her first travels to the publication of the graphic novel À la recherche de Jeanne, where family memory and the history of the 20th century intertwine.

Please note that the conference will take place in Salle Courbet,
