Marc Paygnard has traveled to more than fifty countries with his camera, but he has also passionately captured life in his own region, Franche-Comté, since 1973.
From the Catherinettes to the workers at the Alstom factory, via fairs, shopkeepers, carnivals and street performers, his photographs seek to show the inhabitants of Franche-Comté—women, men, and children—in all their diversity.
