Good news: the Panorama Sonore festival is returning on July 9 & 10, 2026, for a new edition that’s already shaping up to be memorable! Two unique evenings in the heart of Parc Saint-Étienne, with a breathtaking view of Besançon… and a lineup that’s sure to get you moving.
The Program
THYLACINE
Sometimes you have to break away from your roots to find harmony with yourself and the world around you.
In any case, it is in accordance with this principle—which has served him so well thus far—that Thylacine has decided to continue his creative journey. The artist—whom we’ve followed aboard the Trans-Siberian Railway, along the roads of the Andes and the Faroe Islands, and to Turkey to learn to play the bağlama—has decided, for his new album *Roads Vol. 3*, to once again step away from the creative routines of his Paris studio. He, who admits to having a hard time composing two songs in the same place, has this time decided to spend three months exploring a new continent.
Still traveling in his now-famous, flamboyant trailer—a 1972 Airstream equipped for recording, working, and sharing his one-of-a-kind journeys—William Rezé-Thylacine has given himself the time he needed. That time is often lacking when one is bogged down in the routine and pace of touring—the time needed for journeys to become authentic experiences and for intuition to transform into material that is ever more daring and original.
This album promises to be an astonishing journey. A true creative whirlwind, it is the result of profound reflections on his art and his practice in light of the delicate balances of the world around him.
A new musical odyssey that makes Thylacine a truly one-of-a-kind artist.
ETIENNE DE CRÉCY (DJ SET) – CLOSING
From punk bassist to sound engineer in Paris, and then creator of some of the most sublime house tracks of the past thirty years, Étienne de Crécy is an artist in constant motion.
Étienne de Crécy is undoubtedly best known for his classic album *Super Discount*, a record that embodied everything that was chic, soulful, and innovative in the emergence of the French Touch when it was released in 1997. But Étienne de Crécy’s roots go back well before *Super Discount*, and he continues to release fantastic music today, making him one of the few French Touch legends still touring, producing, and innovating.
Alongside all of these creative projects, Étienne de Crécy has enjoyed a long and successful career as a DJ; his funky sets and adventurous spirit are in demand from Barcelona to Mexico City, making him one of the most enduring DJs to emerge from the French Touch movement. And he’s not done yet!
END OF SERVICE – WARM-UP
Officially, it’s over. Unofficially, this is where it begins.
Specialists in parties that clearly should have ended sooner, Sassou and Caro behind the turntables mean a festive CLOSING PARTY, with wild tracks and sets for those who said, “Just one last drink.” But it’s also 16 years of messing around together, a bar for the past 8 years, parties, friends, and ever-crazier ideas—like ending up behind a pair of turntables!
