The Citadel of Besançon is one of eight sites in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This makes our region the second richest in this regard, after Occitanie. It is the ideal way to appreciate the cultural, natural, and historical diversity of our region, while learning about heritage preservation.
