The Citadel of Besançon is one of eight sites listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. This makes our region the second-richest in this regard, after Occitanie. It is the perfect way to appreciate the full cultural, natural, and historical diversity of our region, while fostering a commitment to heritage preservation.
