The Aquarium displays the fauna living in the different aquatic environments of a water course such as the River Doubs, from the torrents of its upper reaches to the deep waters of its lower course: tiny minnows, impressive carp and pike, trout, catfish, etc.

A hands-on pool in the middle of an outside courtyard allows visitors to touch magnificent carp and colourful goldfish.

The neighbouring fish farm is dedicated to endangered aquatic species where visitors can learn about the life of the little Zingel asper fish and observe the native and farmed crayfish that inhabit the waters of Franche-Comté.
